Bulmer & Lumb is an established dyer specialising in the following areas :-

top dyed products for the manufacture of yarns used in the highest quality woven fabrics, knitwear and hosiery. the dyeing of fine and coarse micron wools, including those that have been previously 'shrink resist treated' and made suitable for 'total easy care'. top dyed polyester and nylons used to make blends predominantly with wool. speciality dyeing of noble fibres such as cashmere, silk, alpaca and mohair.

A modern laboratory employing skilled personnel, together with colour computed shade matching, produce dye recipes to meet all shades and colour fastness specifications.

The latest techniques of high density packing with variable rates of flow are used.

The dyehouse is equipped with the latest Beacon controllers together with computerised colour weighing and automatic liquid dispensing to the dye vessels.

Strict quality control testing is applied to all dyed products both during and after processing.
