'Willey & Pearson', is a division of Bulmer & Lumb and a worsted spinner of weaving, knitwear, hosiery and upholstery yarns in both ecru and colours, ring spun including siro to counts ranging from Nm 7 to Nm 80.

Mainstream production is directed towards yarn for men's suitings, socks, knitwear, ladies-wear, corporate and military uniforms and specialist upholstery yarns.

The main qualities offered are in 100% 'Pure New Wool' through to 100% synthetics, for example wool/ polyester, wool/ nylon and Rhovyl /acrylic. In addition, predominantly wool blends containing other fibres such as cashmere, angora, mohair, alpaca, linen and Tencel form part of the wide range on offer.

A range of stock supported weaving yarns is maintained in addition to yarns made to customer requirements for shade, quality and count. Hosiery yarns also feature prominently in coloured and ecru, composed of either untreated or pre-treated wools or blended with other fibres including nylon, acrylic or cashmere, fast to machine wash specifications and suitable for 'Total Easy Care'.

Modern and versatile dyeing machines and the use of advanced computer colour matching processes ensure exact colour matching capabilities required for the production of yarns used in uniform and 'mix and match' manufacture.
